Shovel Knight Amiibo Figure - Compatible with Nintendo Wii U & 3DS - Collectible Gaming Accessory for Shovel Knight Fans

This item was labeled as used in good condition. I found absolutely no flaws in this item. My Son was super excited to receive it and complete his collection. This vendor was top notch!At first you needed it to play co-op on Wii u and Switch but since more recent updates you no longer need the amiibo for co-op. The main appeal of this amiibo is so you can play as a "custom knight". The difference being that instead of collecting treasure and using it to buy upgrades in the game, collecting treasure as a custom knight is like gaining experience points and after gaining a certain amount you level up and gain a relic or something for shovel knight and another color pallet choice. There are some extra relics that can only be obtained as a custom knight. Max level is 50 so you won't get to max level until near the end of the game. Also there is a person in town that will give you the option to summon a shovel fairy if you scan the amiibo. It doesn't effect the gameplay but it flies around and does silly or adorable things.Also an important note is that if you are playing co-op and both players want to play as a custom knight you will need 2 shovel knight amiibos, one for each player. However, you can still play with one player as a custom knight and one not being a custom knight if you only have one amiibo.I would have given it 5 stars if it was a necessity for co-op but since it is no longer that way I'd say it gets 4 stars. It adds some extra fun and variety to an already awesome game.My 9 year old and I have been playing through This toy actually got me to play the game, and the game is now one of my favorite games.I am a New-In-Box collector, so it was extremely nice to be able to use this Amiibo while in the box.And not only that, I've never felt that Amiibo had enough use to justify opening them, let alone using them at all, but this one is different.This is the first time that an Amiibo felt extremely useful. To add multiplayer functionality, or to allow you to be a custom knight with all of your save data on it, is just amazing.This is by far the best utilization of an Amiibo so far, and absolutely worth having if you're playing the game. I'm actually proud to have this because it's a little statue of an amazing experience I've had.The way this figure interacts with the game should be the standard for amiibo functionality. It changes the game in big ways, all positive. When you level the figure up, a new relic, ability, or aesthetic change will unlock and you can switch between them freely at any time, and everything is saved to the figure. You can unlock co-op on the Wii U and use all of your Shovel Knight's gear and costumes with a pal, as well as use your custom knight across save files on 3DS and Wii U. Overall, totally awesome in appearance and sculpt quality, and even more awesome in functionality. If you like the game, and even if you think you're 'done' with Shovel Knight, this will be all you want and more. At least it was for me!Wow this amiibo dose a lot more than the Smash ones. I'm enjoying the ability to level and customize my Shovel Knight and play co-op with my kids. You can even have him tag alone with you in single player mode. If you enjoy Amiibo or the Shovel Knight games this item is a must have. I hope to see more Shovel Knight line amiibo like this one in the future.The figure itself is nicely detailed and it almost screams for you to customize it with your own touches, but that is up to you if you feel confident in doing that. I've seen some excellent ones floating around the Internet so feel free to try your hand.I don't even own a Wii U. I bought Shovel Knight on PC when it first came out, so I'm not going to have the perspective of the additional benefits this figure apparently comes with. But I gather it's pretty rad.Paint is a little sub-par in places with a speck on the right shoulder (his right) and some over-spray with the yellow but I've experienced far worse. As it is, it's still a fine representation of the character and I'm happy with it as just a figurine purchase, even if I can't make use of it's Amiibo features.I'd rate this lower I don't really like the amiibo idea at all (I own zero nintendo produced amiibos and it will stay that way) but Yacht Club did this thing so right that I was compelled to buy just to hopefully make Nintendo angry that some 3rd party amiibos is selling better than their first party ones. It's probably not and Nintendo is probably happily collecting a licensing fee but I guy can dream can't he.Éste amiibo de Shovel Knight honestamente no me lo esperaba, pero en cuanto lo ví, lo amé. Tiene un muy bonito diseño, no se ve que esté hecho de material barato y para ser un amiibo, tiene muchas funciones "in-game" así que no es sólo un elemento decorativo más.En cuanto al envío, llegó antes del tiempo planeado, es decir, se tardó menos de lo que esperaba, así que eso está más que bien.Hice mi pedido por DHL y pedí que me llegara directamente a una sucursal, puesto que es más cómodo y seguro para mí, además de que tienes 5 días para ir a recogerlo desde que llega a la sucursal.Compré este amiibo hace poco más de un año, llegó el día de lanzamiento bien empacado sin ningún problema. Me gusta debido a que es el primer amiibo lanzado por un productor diferente a Nintendo y es edición única, no volvió a salir en restock y hoy en día es bastante difícil de encontrar nuevo.Además, se puede utilizar sin sacar de su empaque ya que el chip nfc no tiene una cubierta en la base como los demás.Shovel Knight es un excelente título que hace homenaje a los juegos de antaño. El diseño del personaje es simple pero no por eso menos interesante. La figura está genial y tiene gran funcionalidad con el juego. Fue una excelente alternativa conseguir el producto por medio de Amazon pues muchas personas e incluso compañías han sacado provecho vendiendo estas figuras por encima de su precio comercial. ¡Gracias Amazon!Shovel Knight, uno de los juegos independientes más importantes de nuestra generación, ahora tiene su propio amiibo. Por supuesto que necesitas un Wii U o un New Nintendo 3DS (o un lector de amiibos para el 3DS normal) para poder usarlo con tu juego. El diseño es precioso, fiel al personaje, y los extra que se desbloquean al usarse con el juego son cuantiosos. Muy recomendado.El juego de Shovel Knight es adictivo, tiene reto y es algo que todos deben jugar, se complementa a la perfección este amiibo con el lanzamiento del juego, es un personaje al cual es fácil tenerle aprecio y la figura está muy bien lograda, los detalles y las dimensiones.La función del amiibo es desbloquear un nuevo modo cooperativo para dos jugadores, así que lo hace más divertido aún. Si gustan del juego y de coleccionar amiibos es un obligado a la colección. Llegó en excelentes condiciones el empaque y todo perfecto con el servicio de Amazon.
