First non official adapter I've tested that has the same low amount of input lag as the official Nintendo one. Contrary to popular belief, the Mayflash adapter actually does have input lag compared to the official Nintendo adapter. When I tested this adapter against my official Nintendo adapter using a 144 hz monitor and 240 fps camera, I was unable to determine any difference in performance between the 2 adapters. A basic overview of how I tested: I recorded 2 videos of myself performing fox’s shine in melee multiple times with both my hand and my monitor in view of the camera, one using the official adapter and one using the Hyperkin adapter. I then count the number of frames after I press down on the b button to when the shine appears on my 144hz monitor in the 240fps video. I was also using Faster Melee to get the obtain the lowest possible amount of input lag (lower than even CRT). Comparing the multiple samples, I found the performances to be identical. Considering the official Nintendo adapter is at $100, I highly recommend this adapter as it achieves the same lagless performance as the original.
