Get ready for a story so epic it could only unfold in the corridors of the worldâs largest museum - the Smithsonian Institution. Museum guard-turned entrepreneur Larry Daly discovers that his favorite exhibits, and some of his best friends, from New Yorkâs Natural History Museum are being shipped off to the archives at the Smithsonian. Larry gets a distress call from the miniature cowboy, Jedediah, reporting that Egyptian ruler Kahmunrah and a trio of heinous henchmen - namely Ivan the Terrible, Napoleon and Al Capone - are plotting to take over the museum, then the world. Speeding to the nationâs capitol, Larry is clearly in over his head. But with some impressive new pals, including the irrepressible Amelia Earhart, along with familiar friends Teddy Roosevelt and Octavius, Larry will stop at nothing to restore the Smithsonian before dawn

Meet and interact with the cast of wacky museum exhibits including historical figures like Amelia Earhart and Teddy Roosevelt along with dinosaurs and polar bears
Battle history's greatest villains, from Al Capone to Napoleon to Ivan the Terrible

Collect all of the pieces of the Magic Tablet of Ahkmenrah to unlock new levels, solve puzzles, and more
I like the puzzles in the games and having to find hidden items, but it is sometimes hard to manipulate character views -- which makes some of the puzzles more frustrating than they should be. There are multiple tasks & awards as well as info on various historical figures or museum pieces. There are areas that differ from the movie, but I've yet to reach the end (still stuck in the hangar with Earhardt). Still, I like to play the game.My grandkids loved the game. My granddaughter is 9 and my grandson is 12. Plus they spent about a week in D.C. last month so this game was a hit. This would have gotten five stars for how much she liked it the first few weeks. Then when she got stuck and never found a way out and nothing on the internet gave a clue how to solve the problem she gave up and it went into the library sale.I ordered this game as a christmas present for my 10 year old son. Living in Australia I was unaware that the games could not be played on our Australian console. It arrived and off course could not be played - tears and distress on christmas morning for my son. I feel strongly that Amazon should have an alert that pops up prior to confirming the order if the shipping adress is a country like Australia and the games (or DVD')s from the USA are not compatible to play in that area. They should just check if you are aware that the game will not play on an un-American console machine. I had to contact Ninetendo - who told me what the issue was. I hope this review helps prevent the extreme distress and unhappiness we had on christmas morning for some other unknwing buyer. We have had to order the game AGAIN from Amazon.UK as it can be played in AustraliaThis is a game I will keep around, I enjoy games that have mazes and puzzles, this game definitely offers that. Did not take that long to beat it, But it was fun.I actually gave this as a gift but have seen the movie. Fun action adventure and family movie night funI bought this game, primarily for my 8 year old who loved the movie. She is able to navigate the game and enjoys playing it. It is a fun game esp. for the price but not one of her favorite WII games.was that just ok
