I wish it was the America release of the game my copy was from another region but I still like the game a lot it works fineGreat battles and loved the music !GreatPerfect! Got it before the expectation date ! Best ever game on 3DSGreatWhen I opened the game there was no plastic wrap and the game inside was different then the case. When I purchased the game it wasn’t listed as a used/return item. (The photo attached is what was delivered)Great game!Game is addictive, itll have you rage quitting over and over. Youll be bravely spamming the brave button. Defaulting gets people killed. Seriously, this RPG was designed to be played in 2016, where plenty of other 3Ds folks could use street pass and share abilities with eachother. But, no one is online. And you must slog through this game alone. Each dungeon is a fruitless maze until the OP boss is found. I found myself setting the enemy encounter rate to -100% (this is a real number in this game), because each enemy encounter began to feel like a commercial break during a YouTube video. I do not like this game and unfortunately, ill have to slog through bravely second, because I bought both while i was drunk. Ps, Agnes never takes her clothes off, although it is hinted at.This game has a real classic feel to it. I really liked the job system and the characters were charming. My favourite was Ringabel because he is one of the best developed characters I've seen in a long time, especially for an RPG on a handheld system. I hope we get to learn more about the main character, Tis, in the sequel because out of all the characters he had the least focus and development. I don't think the plot is anything earth-shattering but it did what it did well and it was very enjoyable with its element of mystery. I really liked what they did with the secondary antagonist, too. The game mechanics were very nice; I liked that we could choose the encounter rate and difficulty; I could level up when I felt like it and get on with the story when I felt like it. Battle mechanics were enough to keep me interested until the end, which is saying something because I tire of battles easily sometimes. Rebuilding Tis' hometown was a unique touch and yielded semi-helpful items through out the game, but a little impractical if you don't use street pass on the 3DS.The only thing I didn't really like was the repetitiveness during a certain part of the game. The number of times you had to repeat things could have easily been cut in half without changing the story in any way. It was a minor issue for me though and it didn't take away from my overall experience. All in all this was a very good game; I could barely put it down. I can't wait for the sequel! This game gets repetitive. Push through. It will be 120% worth it in the end. There are multiple endings and they are all quite lovely. And omg, the character job costumes! The music is inspiring, the story is riveting, and the art is beautiful. As someone who never really played JRPGs like the Final Fantasy series, I thoroughly enjoyed this adventure.I fully recommend Bravely Default to anyone who enjoys old-school turn-based RPGs. It reminds me of Final Fantasy V which is only second to Final Fantasy VI in my books. The game uses the tried and true job class system from FFV. If you've played Dragon Quest IX you'll be familiar with it as well. You have 4 set characters with full backstories, personalities and voice acting (which isn't half-bad). There are lots of story elements for those who enjoy immersing themselves in the world Bravely Default is set in. For those who just want to play through the game for the mechanics and just finish the game, you can skip all the conversations, cut-scenes, and ignore the in-game journal. What makes the game stand out is the job-class system. You can mix and match the jobs of each character to suit your playstyle or the in-game situation. Want a full team of ninjas? Done! Prefer to blast away bosses with nothing but magic? Sure! The game is full of story, action, fighting, loot-hunting, and hours of tooling and optimizing your team. Old-school RPGs fans will delight in everything about the game. Square-Enix incorporated StreePass features which allow you to call in friends for their abilities, special summons, and even to help you rebuild a town that you are tasked with. If you don't use StreePass, don't worry! Unlike other games where you lose out for not using StreePass (and let's face it, not everyone live in a high density urban city), as long as you have an Internet connection, you can get 3 free Net Guests every day which can be used for some of the StreetPass bonuses. I wish other games did this!Anyway, the game is exceptional and I can't wait for the sequel. I rarely pay full price for games, but I purchased this at full price and would be willing to pay more. It's that good.Bought as a gift. They said they enjoyed the game, and while there were some aspects they didn't like about the game play, they found it interesting enough that they might continue playing this series in the future.I am pleasantly suprised by this game. It reminds me a lot of the old Final Fantasy style games. I have missed these dearly since the 90's. I can't get into the new style of FF, but this is a pretty decent storyline and fun gameplay.
